Boot the server from CDROM with rescue mode. At the boot prompt:
linux rescue
Choose mount filesystem when it is asked.
Your file syste will be mounted under /mnt/sysimage, chroot there
chroot /mnt/sysimage
Install group boot loader.
grub-install /dev/sda
Reboot your server.
